Welcome to My New Voice |
My name is Blanca Kelty and I would be glad to help you to explore Spanish or English as a new language.
This company was founded when I was approached by several residents in Columbia, Missouri who were interested in learning Spanish-English or improving their language skills with more confidence.
My expertise in teaching motivated me to start a program that would fulfill the needs of many individuals on their journey to communicate more effectively with a second voice for personal, professional or traveling purposes.
This program is also beneficial for individuals in Columbia's international community, many of whom are eager to improve their English in order to integrate more easily into the American culture and our communities.

I grew up in Mexico City, but I have lived in The United States for 30 years.
I am based in Columbia, MO where I live with my husband Eric. My two kids, who are bilingual, are flourishing as young professionals who have the skills to accommodate and communicate with international clients in their respective careers. I studied communications at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). I also received a masters degree in Spanish Literature at The University of Missouri, Columbia. My interest in languages started when I was a kid listening to The Beatles. I have always appreciated the lyricism of English. Later on, I studied French and Italian. I have taught Spanish for 28 years and it is gratifying to see the success of many of my students who are fluent in Spanish. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to learn more about different ways to speak Spanish according to the various regions and dialects in Spain and Latin America. Teaching languages is my passion and I would like to share the experience of having a new voice to establish connections with more people in the world. |
